What to Do If You Have Been Scammed
Even if you are careful and alert, fraudsters can be highly convincing. If you have clicked on a suspicious link, shared personal information, or made a payment in response to a fraudulent message, it is important to act quickly.
Contact your bank immediately
If you have entered your payment card details or completed a payment on a suspicious website, you should contact your bank straight away. They can help block your card, monitor for suspicious transactions, and advise you on the next steps.
Change your passwords
If you have entered a password on a fraudulent website or shared login details with a scammer, you should change your password immediately. If you use the same password for other accounts, we also recommend changing it there.
Monitor your accounts
Keep a close eye on your accounts for unexpected transactions, suspicious login attempts, or notifications about changes to your account details. Take action immediately if anything appears unusual.
Report the scam to the police
If you have been the victim of fraud or financial crime, we recommend reporting the incident to the police. This may help prevent further misuse and support efforts to combat online fraud.
Inform Q-Park
We take a proactive approach to phishing and fraud prevention. If a scammer has impersonated Q-Park or used the Q-Park name, logo, or brand as part of a scam, we would very much like to hear about it. By informing us about suspicious messages, you can help us identify and respond to new fraud attempts.
It would be a great help if you could forward fraudulent text messages, screenshots of fake websites, or any other relevant information to +45 2596 8899.
This enables us to work continuously to have fraudulent websites reported and taken down.
Help protect others
If you receive a fraudulent message on social media, you can report the fake profile or suspicious e-mail. Doing so helps protect others from falling victim to the same type of scam.
IMPORTANT: If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, do not click on links, open attachments, or make payments directly from the message. Q-Park will never request payment via text message. Take the time to verify the communication before taking any action.
The quicker you respond, the greater the chance of limiting the impact of the scam.
