3.1 User responsibility for the information in the app
3.1.1 It is the user's responsibility that the information in the app and on the Q-Park account is correct and updated at all times, including but not limited to license plate(s), payment card, e-mail address, etc.
3.1.2 A license plate can only be associated with one account at a time. It is the user's responsibility to a delete a license plate from the app as soon as the user no longer wishes to be able to pay for parking for a given license plate through their account in the app, for example if the user has a temporarily leased car or sells his/her vehicle.
3.1.3 Payments made based on incorrect information or failure to update information will not be refunded. Likewise, the user must bear any other losses that may arise as a result of incorrect information or failure to update information in the app.
3.2 Payment
3.2.1 The user is responsible for paying parking charges and any other fees. It is the user's responsibility that an active payment card with coverage is always registered in the app.
3.2.2 If the payment for the parking cannot be withdrawn from the provided card, the user will receive a notification to this effect via the provided e-mail address. The app cannot be used until the outstanding amount has been paid and a valid payment card is added.
3.2.3 If the payment is not secured after the notification, reminders may be sent out and transfer to debt collection in the event of continued non-payment may take place.
3.3 Fees
3.3.1 Any fees will appear as "service fee" under the price for parking in the app. Learn more about our fees here, these can be subject to change without notice.
3.3.2 When a payment for parking is completed in the app, the user agrees to pay the stated service fee in addition to the payment for parking.
4.1. The user's responsibility
4.1.1 The app can only be used for payment in the parking areas where it is clear from signage that payment can be made using the Q-Park app, or the area is indicated in the overview map of the app. Q-Park is not responsible for any imposed penalty fares that have been imposed if parking payment was made through the app in an area where this was not possible cf. the signage in the parking area.
4.1.2 It is the user's responsibility that the payment is registered and starts immediately after placing the vehicle in the parking area and that the payment is active throughout the parking time. It is also the user's responsibility to stop the payment in the app at the end of their parking time. Any payment for unused parking time will not be refunded.
4.1.3 It is the user's responsibility that registration and payment in the app takes place for the correct license plate on the vehicle being stationed in the parking area and for the correct space number, even if a different space number is suggested by the GPS in the user's mobile device.
4.1.4 It is the user's responsibility to park in the portion of the parking area where the parking can be paid for in the app. In some parking areas, you can only park for payment in selected parts of the area/in selected bays and not necessarily in the entire parking area. Therefore, pay attention to this.
4.1.5 Q-Park P-permit cannot be requested through the app. If it appears from the signage that you can park with a Q-Park P-permit, payment through the app does not grant access to parking in the area. A parking permit must be obtained through the owner of the parking area.
4.1.6 The other posted conditions and guidelines for parking in the parking area must be observed at all times. Therefore, always check the conditions that apply to parking in the parking area.
4.1.7 If the app is out of order, or there are problems with completing the registration and payment for the parking through the app, it is the user's responsibility to pay for the parking in another way. It can, for example, be done by paying in one of the machines set up or by using another payment app. it is therefore the case that breakdowns do not give the right to park without payment.
4.2 Penalty fares
4.2.1 When parking in a parking area, the user agrees to comply with the displayed conditions and these terms and conditions, including that payment is made as stated in section 3. If payment for the parking is not made either via the app or in another way, or if any of the displayed conditions are not complied with, a penalty fare may be imposed. The driver of the vehicle is responsible for its payment.
4.2.2 If a penalty fare has been imposed, a payment for parking in the app will not be refunded or set off against the amount of the penalty fare, regardless of the reason for issuing the penalty fare.
4.2.3 If the user is the owner of the vehicle, but was not the driver of the vehicle at the time of the penalty fare, the user is obliged to state who the driver of the vehicle was.
5.1 License plate recognition
5.1.1 License plate recognition is available at selected parking facilities with barriers. Here, the payment will automatically start when a vehicle whose license plate is registered in the app drives into the parking facility.
5.1.2 When registering a license plate in the app, the user accepts that license plate recognition and automatic payment will be activated for this license plate as long as it is registered and active in the app.
5.1.3 It is the user's responsibility to remove the license plate when license plate recognition and automatic payment for this is no longer desired. Payment for parking for a license plate that is registered in the user's app, but where the user did not park himself, will not be refunded.
5.1.4 It is the user's responsibility to delete the license plate or deactivate license plate recognition at a given parking facility in the app before entering the facility, if the user does not wish to use license plate recognition and automatic payment through the app.
5.1.5 It is the user's responsibility to ensure that automatic payment goes into effect correctly. If the license plate recognition does not take place at the entrance, the user must contact the company's Service Center or settle payment in another way. The company does not compensate for any losses resulting from a lack of license plate recognition and correct setting of an automatic payment.
5.1.6 There is no license plate recognition and automatic payment in parking areas without barriers, where it is the user's responsibility to pay in accordance with the displayed conditions in the parking area by starting the payment manually in the app at the upon parking.
6.1 The user's responsibility when using the app for managing subscriptions (created by the user himself or a third party)
6.1.1 It is the user's responsibility to always ensure that the correct license plate is registered in connection with the app subscription. If the correct license plate is not registered, the vehicle will not be able to access the parking area under the agreement, and payment will have to be made on the general terms and rates, and such payment will not be refunded later.
6.1.2 Parking outside the time limit of the subscription: If the user has a subscription with a time restriction, such as weekday parking only, it is the user's responsibility to delete the license plate before driving into the facility. If the license plate has not been deleted, and parking is done outside of the time period for which the subscription is valid, a bill for the payment for parking at the normal rate will be sent to the natural or legal person who set up the subscription.
6.1.3 It is the user's responsibility to park in the portion of the parking area to which the subscription gives access. If parking occurs in another area, payment will be made according to normal terms and rates, and such payment will not be refunded.
6.1.4 Reference is also made to the applicable general subscription and product conditions, which can be found here.
