AGREEMENT
Upon completion of a booking of parking, an agreement is entered into between the consumer (“the Customer”) and Q-Park Operations Denmark A/S, Gladsaxevej 378, DK-2860 Søborg, Company reg. no. 11967086 (“Q-Park”).
When a booking has been confirmed, Q-Park makes a parking space available to the Customer at the chosen time and in the selected car park. The parking space within the chosen car park is not specified.
Q-Park can be contacted via the 24-hour Service Centre on +45 7025 7213, at sc@q-park.dk or through the contact form on Q-Park’s website.
RESERVATION
Parking reservations must be made online at www.q-park.dk
Only one parking space can be reserved at a time. During the reservation process, the Customer must select a car park and a reservation period.
When the reservation and payment have been completed, the Customer will receive a confirmation on screen and by email to the address provided during the booking process. The confirmation contains information about the selected reservation period and car park. The Customer is only entitled to a parking space during the confirmed reservation period.
The receipt also contains a QR code, which may be used to open doors in the car park and to scan at the entrance if the vehicle’s number plate is not recognised.
The reservation is binding, and the agreement becomes final once the confirmation has been received.
PRICE
All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT.
Q-Park reserves the right to correct pricing errors and to make price and update adjustments.
PAYMENT
The price for parking depends on the chosen car park and the duration of the parking period.
For card payments, the card number, expiry date and security code must be entered.
Payment must always cover the entire reservation period, regardless of whether the Customer uses the full period or not, unless the Customer exercises the right of withdrawal.
The parking period is calculated from the time the Customer actually starts parking until the Customer exits the car park, or until the end of the reservation period, whichever occurs later.
If the vehicle is collected before the end of the reservation period, no refund will be made for the unused time.
If the car park is exited after the reservation period has expired, payment must be made for the extra parking time caused by the delayed departure, regardless of the reason. Payment for the additional parking time will be automatically charged to the same payment card used for the original booking. This additional payment is authorised by the Customer at the time of booking. The price for additional parking will be according to the prevailing rates in the car park. The same applies if the parking commences before the reserved start time.
The Customer may enter the car park up to two hours before the reserved start time. Entry up to 15 minutes before the reserved start time is permitted without extra charge. If entry occurs more than 15 minutes before the reserved time, the 15 minutes of free parking will lapse.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (applicable to consumers only)
The Customer may withdraw from the reservation in accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date the reservation was made. The right of withdrawal may be exercised until 23:59 on the 14th day after booking.
After 14 days, bookings can only be cancelled if the Customer purchased a cancellation insurance policy when completing the booking. In such cases, the Customer may cancel up to 24 hours before the booked arrival time.
Bookings must be cancelled via the green button in the confirmation email or via Q-Park’s website if the Customer has created a My Q-Park profile. The Customer must log in to their profile and cancel the booking under “Order History”. This applies both to exercising the right of withdrawal and the cancellation insurance.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction. No fees are charged for exercising the right of withdrawal; however, Q-Park does not refund the payment card fee.
AMENDMENT OF RESERVATION
Once confirmed, a reservation cannot be amended. The Customer may, however, exercise the right of withdrawal or cancellation insurance via the link in the confirmation email or through their My Q-Park profile. A new booking can then be made.
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be addressed directly to Q-Park via the contact form on the Q-Park website or by calling the 24-hour Service Centre on +45 7025 7213.
Complaints regarding defects or deficiencies in the service must be made without undue delay; otherwise, the Customer loses the right to make such a claim.
LIABILITY
The following liability provisions apply unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory Danish law.
Entry to and use of the car park is at the Customer’s own risk and in accordance with Q-Park’s rules and regulations as displayed on-site. Neither Q-Park nor the car park owner can be held liable for accidents, theft, or damage to persons, vehicles, valuables or similar, regardless of cause. Likewise, Q-Park cannot be held liable for indirect or consequential losses.
AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT TERMS
The agreement and terms may be amended or terminated due to public regulations, official orders or other circumstances beyond Q-Park’s control. Such changes will be announced on www.q-park.dk
FORCE MAJEURE
If the delivery of services is delayed or prevented due to unforeseen circumstances beyond Q-Park’s control – including but not limited to war, mobilisation, acts of terrorism (or threats thereof), fire, strike, boycott, blockade, lockout (including among Q-Park staff), road closures, access restrictions or natural disasters – the delivery time shall be extended accordingly.
Q-Park cannot be held liable in cases of force majeure.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any dispute arising from these terms and conditions shall be governed by Danish law.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be brought before the courts of Copenhagen as the court of first instance.
PERSONAL DATA
In connection with the reservation of parking, Q-Park processes personal data relating to the Customer (name, address, telephone number, email address, payment details and vehicle registration number). The processing is carried out in accordance with the Danish Data Protection Act, and such information will not be disclosed to third parties. Q-Park’s Privacy Statement is available on the Q-Park website.
